Today ay Camp! (6/9/14)

PAEEL-1
Paeel-1 is super excited to be at camp this summer!  Debuting our new name, Paeel, meaning active, we are living up to it already!! We started off our awesome Monday with a fun round of the name game to get to know all of our brand new friends.
After, we visited Baylee to learn about Joseph and even made our very own Technicolor Dream coat.  Later, we got to do all of Paeel’s very favorite activity, SWIMMING!!!! Clara Thompson had to tell all of her new friends how she was so excited to get in the pool she could burst.  Paeel-1 can’t wait to see what other fun activities JCC Camp and summer 2014 will bring!

ALL STAR SPORTS CAMP-1
Goal! Today we in Sports Aleph played multiple sports and games including soccer, gaga, handball and dodgeball. We started out the day by playing name games and ice breakers in order to learn each other’s names and a little bit about one another. Then we played multiple sports and had a very close relay race. We also went to instructional swim and learned what swim group and level we would be in. We had a nice time in the pool again during free swim. Today has been wonderful and we are sure tomorrow will be just as fun.

ALL STAR SPORTS CAMP-2
Today marks the start of another fantastic sports camp summer. With counselors Jonah Roberts, Markus Pierce and Andrew Rogers making up the rest of the team, camp got off to a raucons start with flag raising. Followed by an icebreaker designed to get to know fellow campers’ names, All Star Sports Camp-2 got into a competitive game of scooter handball. Right off the bat we played a game no one had heard of before. The last sport played before swimming was 4 square down at the campgrounds. Out first day of camp was terrific and we all are looking forward to an exciting summer!

YOFI-1
Today in Yofi-1 we had so much fun on our
first day of camp! At flag raising we got really excited to start our summer with some awesome camp songs. Next we learned each others' names and decided on our group rules. At instructional swim we got tested for swimming levels and later we all enjoyed free swim at the pool.  We look forward to nature, tennis baseball, song session, arts and crafts, and ships and sailors this week. We had an awesome fist day in Yofi-1!
